Initial Review, 3000 Miles on Tires We took our X5 offroad on some national forest trails. I was hesitant to go down some somewhat steep slippery rock trails, worried I might not get back up them, since I usually am traversing this particular path in a regular 4WD GMC pickup with low 4WD and BFG All Terrains, but the X5 AWD and the Pirelli's surprised me by making easy work of clawing back up the hill.
