Initial Review, 3000 Miles on Tires
December 13, 2011
I've been driving on these for a couple of months and they are wonderful tires.
Quieter, smoother and better wet handling than my last tires by a wide margin.
95% of my driving is on the highway between 65-75MPH and these are wonderful. The first week or two they were a bit wobbly feeling but I understand that was the break-in period. Once I was past that point the traction, control and handling all significantly improved (no more wobbly feeling at speed on the freeway).
They are surprisingly grippy in the wet and I hit a massive puddle on the freeway at 60MPH and was able to maintain direction. I was scared $h!tl355 but still able to plow safely through - that was a good feeling to know they were that stable. Still I would not recommend hitting puddles at freeway speed. ;^)
I have not had many tires but this set is easily the best I have experienced thus far.
I would give it 9's across the board but I'm giving mostly 8's because of my lack of experience. I will come back in a few months and review them again when I have experience in the snow with these bad boys.
