Initial Review, 500 Miles on Tires
November 02, 2011

Of all the tires I've driven on, Continental tires seem to be the quietest. They seem to be sticky around corners. My OEM tires were horribly loud. They made a noise around the same corners that these are silent around. Also, wet traction is very good. My OEM tires would too easily spin from stop. These require a lot more throttle to break them loose. I feel much more confident in the rain with these. At 30,000 miles, my old tires were down right scary in the rain. The OEM's were cupping badly, but, had a lot of tread left. They still hydroplaned like I were on ice. These new ones cut through the rain and, at this early stage, feel very sturdy. I haven't really had them long enough to accurately comment on the MPG's, but, I was getting 2 MPG better on my return trip from getting these put on. I haven't driven far enough to get an accurate read on them yet though. I also can't comment on snow conditions yet either. But, that's coming I feel. My OEM's were actually really good in the snow. I'm interested to see the comparison.
