Initial Review, 1000 Miles on Tires I replaced the OEM Goodyear after 18,000 miles and found, to my delight, that the Bridgestones transformed the feel and enjoyment of driving. In particular, I no longer have to grip the steering wheel with two hands to keep the car on course; Goodyear OEM were scary with their tendency to wander across the lane even on relatively smooth surfaces. Noise levels have been reduced significantly albeit I conceed that near end of life most performance tires get noisier as did the Goodyear OEM.
