Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires I destroyed a pair of these on the front of my supercharged gti from the second half of summer, into the first half of the fall. The rears are still at 75%. I do mostly "highway" driving, most roads I travel are 50-65mph. I do drive quite aggressively in this car most times. This is a second car, my toy/summer daily driver. I did make two 500 mile round trips on these tires to NY maintaining 80mph on the highway. I love the dry grip, and wet traction, tread wear is the only problem I had with these tires, but I guess that's the trade off for being able to corner much better.
