Initial Review: 12,000 miles on tires
January 10, 2012

Bought these to replace factory tires, based on reviews I read here. Now about a year old, the treadwear is minimal compared with the factory ones that showed signs of significant wear by 15,000 miles. They were done by 23,000. The big thing for me is noise,a nd these are really quiet. Much better than the factory tires. The traction in snow is SIGNIFICANTLY better, which is not bad for a performance tire. I towed a heavy trailer to Connecticut and back from Ohio and there were no problems at all. Traction was excellent. I don't think the ssidewalls are as strong as the original tires which pays dividends in comfort but if you drive your SUV like a sports car you may notice some lowering of cornering ability. I drive my truck fast on highways mostly so comfort is more important. Overall, I would rate this tire as a great value and superior performer.
