Initial Review, 36,000 Miles on Tires I LOVE these tires! When I bought a used 2007 Mazda CX-9 a couple of years ago, the 20-inch OEM tires needed to be replaced immediately. I researched options on some Mazda forums and the Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires kept coming up, so I purchased a set. These have been the best tires on any car I've ever owned. The ride is luxurious, soft and surprisingly quiet. And the performance in wet weather (we live east of Seattle) is excellent, too - no hydroplaning, even at high speeds, driving on I-90 up to Snoqualmie Pass. I've driven in packed snow and frozen slush, and the tires did fine. But when the weather gets really bad, I don't take any chances: the Mazda CX-9 gets parked in the driveway and I only drive my Audi A4 Quattro. This has nothing to do with the tires, however - it's just no fun driving a huge SUV on icy roads when I have an option with my Audi.
