Initial Review, 20,000 Miles on Tires I bought these tires based on reviews from this site. I have been very happy with the 'upgrades' over the OEM tire that I was looking for, namely I feel they offer a smoother and quieter ride than the OEM tire. I take my truck (4x4) into the mountains in the winter and I wanted a tire with good snow traction as well. The tread pattern seems to work well in snowy conditions, and I don't remember having much problem with traction through powder snow in 4x4, or plowed roads in 2x4 and I always feel confident driving in the snow with them. I drive in Southern CA so not much rain, but when I have had occasion to drive in the rain I have had no traction problems. Similarly, when pulling my boat out of the lake at a steep launch I don't have a problem there either. (Approx. 4000 lb weight wet.) I was expecting a better tread life on the tire, the outside edges have worn quicker than I expected. However, I am not certain that is the tire's fault or just the way the tundra is built. I have had my alignment checked several times, and I speculate that in order to have a tight turning radius Toyota set a greater camber on the wheels which may fry the tires on the outside edge. If I find my wear has something to do with the truck rather than the tire, I would strongly consider these tires again for their ride, sound and traction for ordinary truck driving. (I do not drive off road so I have no input related to dirt traction.) Read All Reviews for This Tire | Write a Review for This Tire | ||||
