Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires Dramatic improvement in ride quality from OEM Bridgestones, in fact, I have never had a tire that improves ride quality so substantially. Slight reduction in steering responsiveness and in gas mileage, perhaps due in part to soft sidewalls. Quiet tire, even with aggressive tread, perhaps due to uni-directional tread (no cross rotation, only front to back). Very attractive tire, nicely compliments CRV's styling, easily the most attractive tire I've seen on this vehicle. Tracks very well at high speeds on the freeway, really wants to stay centered, there is no hunting or wandering, even at 80+ mph and feels very secure at high speeds, this is the first tire I have owned that felt like it could comfortably and safely exceed 100 mph (but have not and will not try). Definitely more turning resistance than OEM's, especially for sharper at low speed turns, a bit unsettling at first, and I have detected a touch of oversteer. This tire certainly feels like it has a lot more rubber in contact with the road, which may account for the higher turning effort required. Super traction in all conditions except ice and very deep snow, where it is just good. This tire feels heavy, substantial and secure, even though it comes in at the same tire weight as the OEM Bridgestones. An incredible tire at any price, in the low 100's for the 17", it's a steal.
