Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G051
Follow-Up Review: 10,000 miles on tires
Got them new in October. Got Caught in a blizzard in Texas during Christmas. I had no trouble in the 4 to 6 inches of snow. I was really glad I had new tires then. It also snowed here in Athens a couple of weeks ago and I was fine. We live kind of at the top of a hill. Not too steep but it worried me on day 2 but I had no trouble. They will hydroplane in rain but not any worse than the factory BFG Longtrail TA's. I am impressed with Yokahama so far. I have a set of Avid Touring S's on my Altima too.
Initial Review: 100 miles on tires
Just put a set of the Yokahama Geolander HTs on my 2005 Xterra a few days back. It has been raining since I bought them. I am glad I got them because the Factory BFG Longtrail TA's were pretty much bald at 61800. So far the Yokahamas are quieter and ride smoother but I cant remember when the BFG's were new. I am still pretty sure the Yokahamas would be quieter even compare to new BFGs. I will let you know more as the miles build.
