MN winters- ice, snow & salt. We got a lot of snow the first winter I had these and they worked better than expected in the deep stuff. I remember pulling a lady to her business. Her car was high centered in the snow because the driveway to her business (and parking lot) wasn't plowed yet. I had no problems pulling her through about 10 inches of snow for over 200 yards. With 57k on them now, I will still wait until next summer to replace them considering the tread wear is that good. As expected, as the tread wears down, so does the traction in snow. But the traction on ice is still almost as good as it was with fresh tread.

I've had them off-road more than the average SUV- usually a couple dedicated trips each year. Very happy. I've had minimal experience in mud, though. (Just not worth it to me to get into mud if avoidable.) These were the OEM for the some of the Lexus LX & Land Cruiser model years. My brother and father in law both purchased a set for their trucks after seeing how well they worked on mine.
