Yokohama AVID ENVigor (H- or V-Speed Rated)
Follow-Up Review: 30,000 miles on tires
After 30,000 miles I still like the Yokohama tires more than my previous Michelin tires. The tires are definitely not as grippy on wet pavement as they were when they were new, but they still don't lose the road during a heavy rain. Tire balance has been very stable, and I haven't noticed any out-of-round problems at any speed. Overall, this is a nice, stable tire that's great for wet-weather usage. We haven't had much snow since I've put them on, so my snow ratings would be pretty meaningless. I'd definitely buy these again.
Initial Review: 6,500 miles on tires
It's raining out today, so it's a great day to brag about these tires. Great handling in wet weather, with no hydroplaning or slipping. They also keep their balance, and drive perfectly smoothly at all speeds since the day they were initially installed. Much better experience than I've had with several previous sets of Michelin tires. I'm sold, I'll buy these again. (I already have, my wife has a set too.)
