Follow-Up Review: 29,000 miles on tires
After having these tires for a while longer now, my opinion of hasn't changed much. Only now the tread is not wearing as well as I thought it would. One of the tires now has a very week sidewall. I figure that to be an anomaly and not necessarily the norm. Looking to replace them already at less than 30k miles. NOT GOOD!
Initial Review: 4,000 miles on tires
This tire has great traction and stability in dry and rainy conditions. But in snow and especially just a LITTLE ice they are absolutely terrible!! Unfortunately, these are on our family vehicle which my wife mostly drives. We will not take it out in the snow (which we get our fair share during winter) if we can avoid it. 3 growing children and I'd rather take my F-150 2wd supercab (not crew) with the kids scrunched in the back seat than in our roomy wagon ONLY because of the lack of traction in the snow. We've never had any problems with previous tires on this car (109k+ miles) like we have with the ENVigors in snow. Most of the year these tires are great just not in winter. I would only recommend these tires on a car that won't be driven in snow or icy conditions. If we lived in the South I would absolutely love these.
