Initial Review, 3,000 Miles on Tires I purchased these tires when there was still only 300k reported miles, when the survey results were still all green. I debated this decision, as 300k is a pretty small number for TireRack surveys, especially given the fact that the tires were new-ish models and there hadn't been substantial snow to test them. Well, I took a gamble and ordered them right before some big snow storms came in... Not so good. It took about 1,000 miles of squirming through snow before I they felt like broken in. And even now, they don't feel very inspiring in the cold. I get wheel spin from a stop on a hill if I don't baby it a little. I'm really hoping for better performance when the spring comes.
