These tires are well engineered--they hold up, especially in terms of delivering a quiet ride. The balance of ride comfort and dry handling/traction is truly optimal. The XL load rating gives added peace of mind during summer road trips--yet these tires do not feel trucky at all. Next update following the rainy season in Socal.

Replaced Sumitomo HTR H/P's. Bought Yoko's at the recommendation of a patient Tirerack rep. Yoko Envigor is QUIIIIIIETER, SMOOOOOOTHER, and far more RESPONSIVE and PRECISE compared to the trucky Sumitomo's. I swear, the car drives like new! Yoko's are more comparable to the OEM Continental 4x4's. If I truly had my wish list, I would ask for even more responsiveness and grip from the Yoko's--but I've driven most of my life on numerous makes of Max Sport Summer Tires and I would dare anyone to cite another tire that delivers more performance without compromising comfort, especially on a 5,000lb family cruiser/people hauler.
