Yokohama AVID ENVigor (H- or V-Speed Rated)
Follow-Up Review: 25,000 miles on tires
Well, it's August of 2012 and I'm at that point where my Yokohama AVID ENvigor tires need to be replaced.

Other than treadwear, which feels like it's a little bet less than expected, the tires have been exceptional. We're close to the wear strips right now and still the tires showed remarkable grip on flooded streets today. The tires remain quiet, sticky, and were decent in snow when we saw snow. I'm likely to be purchasing another set, because nothing else in this size / price appears to beat what these tires offer.

I would not do a lot of off-trail driving with these tires, by the way. They are not designed for off road use.

You'll be pleased if these end up on your Lexus.
Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
Just replaced some Michelin tires with the AVID ENVigor (H&V) tires. The tires are quiet, responsive, and appear to be great replacements for the OEM Michelins. Had a wild turkey run in from of the vehicle two days ago...was able to bring my RX330 to a fast and controllable stop with no problems. The tires appear to be every bit as good as what was delivered on the vehicle. I will review the tire again when we get some rain, but so far, this new tire from Yokohama appears to be a competitively priced swap for the far more expensive Michelin OEMs.
