Initial Review: 5,000 miles on tires

Very few tires manufacturer carry choices for Honda Fit OEM tires sizes so the best I could get is this Yoko Avid tires. I'd chosen Kumho or Hankook and even General tires if they have OEM size.
The rubber on these tires are very hard which make it handles very firm, almost similar to my low profile tires on my 350Z. That said, the ride is harsh when contact a bump or pot hole filled uneven surface since the rubber very hard and stiff to make to tires last 100K miles. The original Bridgestone Turanza were softer with smoother ride on city or highway but they last only 50K miles.

These are LRR tires, I got 40 MPG with these tires on highway however Honda rating for highway is 36 MPG and with my speed between 65-70 MPH. I don't mind the stiff ride with good handling since my Nissan 350Z low profile tires felt the same. If you are looking for softer ride similar to original OEM tires, this is NOT for you definitely. To sum up, handling well with great road response in dry/wet condition are superbly great with a firm ride.
