Initial Review, 18,000 Miles on Tires Probably the best rain tire I've ever driven on, but these tires wear out completetly at the shoulders. They were worn out after 18,000 miles of driving by my middle age schoolteacher wife. Alignment was not an issue. There just isn't enough tread at the shoulders.
