Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow
Initial Review: 3,000 miles on tires
December 13, 2011

We took our X5 offroad on some national forest trails. I was hesitant to go down some somewhat steep slippery rock trails, worried I might not get back up them, since I usually am traversing this particular path in a regular 4WD GMC pickup with low 4WD and BFG All Terrains, but the X5 AWD and the Pirelli's surprised me by making easy work of clawing back up the hill. So while not mud or all terrain tires, these Pirelli's did the job just fine!

I have not have had the chance to test in snow and ice yet however.
