Initial Review: 36,000 miles on tires

These tires have been everything I hoped for and more. I am a Southern California resident who heads to the mountains quite often during the winter and to the desert occasionally when it is not too hot. These tires have handled like champions in the snow with my AWD and were awesome on sandy backroads in the desert. I actually had to pull a friend's full size pickup out of the sand with my little hybrid highlander because I had good traction and he was digging holes with his tires! I bought these tires after extensive research for a tire that would handle anything the winter threw at me in the mountains while still having a good treadlife. Most other winter tires wear out quickly when used outside of winter conditions, but I anticipate I'll get 40,000+ miles out of these. I'm at 36,000 miles and going strong!
