Initial Review, 15,000 Miles on Tires One would expect a pick up costing close to $50k would come with a quality set of tires. Sadly the Pirelli Scorpions are just poor tires. Horrible rain traction, off road capabilities are non existent and ice/snow is just dangerous. Although I wasn't planning on it, after experiencing our first snow of the year in Western, Pennsylvania I ordered dedicated snow tires (Blizzaks). The truck performed so poorly during the first snow I had to get the Pireeli's off, it did that poorly. I am disappointed that Ford would even put these tires on their flagship pick up and for Pirelli to manufacture such a poor grade tire under their name. After an estimated 15k miles of warm season driving the Pirelli's are near bald which is why I am here today looking at Summer tires.
