Initial Review, 13,000 Miles on Tires I've had these tires on a previous car and would not, under any circumstance, recommend spending $1,500 on them. They're reasonably quiet, but so are a lot of other tires. Traction, both wet and dry, is terrible. After being disappointed with Pirelli tires on several cars (I've owned 29), I would never again put them on another. The Michelins are fantastic (but pricey), and Hankooks that replaced the Pirellis on another car I had were quieter, handled better, and rode better for half the price.
