Initial Review, 16,000 Miles on Tires
Outstanding tire! I am at roughly 16K miles and it is time for new tires, which is to be expected with such a soft compound. I went from the RSA to this tire and it is night and day. The Pirelli is probably the best tire I have driven as far as performance goes. As for ride quality and road noise...not so much. Alot of road noise transfers through the tires which made for a noisey cab more times than not, but again it is ok by me, because the benefits far out weigh the cons. I am now on the hunt for a tire with the best of both worlds. If you are not bothered by a little road noise this is the tire for you! Even in the rain this tire far out performed any other performance tire I have driven on. My SRT has modifications on it and has been dyno'd at 515HP so i think it is going to shred any tire and just to be clear; while my driving style is very spirited there is very little burn out time on these tires. My tires are almost bald and there still hold the road like they were new! Hope it helps!
