Initial Review, 21,000 Miles on Tires I have an STS V and if you are looking at these tires you know what this car can do. I had a front tire blow out from a pot hole in KY and could put 4 fingers in the hole in the side wall. I drove the car 40 miles home on the freeway(slowly, and besides the slight thumping had no issues. I am sold on the Pirelli run flats. You pay more and lose a little performance but I hate to think of what might have happened had I not had these tires on when I hit that pothole at 80 miles an hour at night.
