Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus
Follow-Up Review: 12,000 miles on tires
Drove 3/17/2014 in 7 inches of snow from NJ to VA in unplowed snow. Tires performed well except for losing traction close to edges of road where snow was deepest. Car has differential braking which saved the car a few times from going into a ditch, but lost traction and hit the guard rail (damaged vehicle) before going into the 895 harbor tunnel. Have to admit not bad performance for 7 inches of snow without the slightest hint that snow plows where anywhere to be seen. Can't imagine that any other tires would have performed any better; can't believe that municipalities did not plow and allowed accumulation of 7 inches to remain on the road. There was also a bus crash and an 18-wheeler crash on I-95 near Stafford, VA that same morning...could have been avoided with proper plowing of roadways.
Initial Review: 7,000 miles on tires
Replaced tires after toe wear pattern on priors. Drive 900 miles per week in dry, wet, icy, snowy conditions. Very satisfied with traction in wet and light snow. Sometimes I can chirp the tires on dry pavement at stop light but its a diesel with lots of torque. Much better than previous tires, though. Great price, great product.
I checked my purchase order and I actually purchased the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season PLUS. Could not edit that selection, so maybe the webmaster will make that correction!
