Follow-Up Review: 35,000 miles on tires

Tires are toast and will not be used this winter. Used for two winters (first year very snowy - last one quite mild). My first experience with winter tires and I expected 3 maybe 4 winters especially after reading all the reviews. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I do know someone using their Bridgestone Blizzak for the 4th season with adquate tread. Yes, I do a fair amount of miles but I did rotate them and kept the pressure accurate so I did expect more. If I purchase winter tires again will most likely take a look at the Bridgestones
Initial Review: 25,000 miles on tires
May 21, 2011

Purchased tire in fall before this past miserable snowy winter in the Northeast. I do a lot of miles on both highway and city and always had a positive experience with Michelin tires in the past. Not that there was anything really wrong with the tires, as they got me home everyday in bad weather, just a very average tire for the money. I rotated them three times this past winter in the hopes that I would get a few more winter seasons yet I have serious doubts that I will be able to use beyond next winter. I installed in November (Thanksgiving) and took off in late March with about 20,000 miles driven. Just an average tire for the premium price - will probably look elsewhere when shopping again for a winter tire.
