Initial Review, 8,000 Miles on Tires Amazing snow and ice traction. The ABS and traction/stability systems almost never kick in no matter how bad the roads are. Good handling on dry roads, too. This is my third season on this set and there is still a lot of tread. The only unusual characteristic is an odd noise-a metallic scraping-under hard acceleration (it is always present with these tires on, and is totally absent as soon as I mount my summer tires).
