Initial Review, 7,500 Miles on Tires Would buy again, but probably get the xi3 instead, just because of the reported improvements. I live in Spokane WA and on a hill about 900' above the main part of the city. The only access roads to my development are winding and steep (600' in about 1/2 mile, or about 22% grade). My wife's Outback has Toyo studless winter traction tires, and it does okay, but it requires requires a lot more caution than my Passat with 4Motion does using the xi2's.
