Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires

I've always opted for cheaper tires, but decided since I finally got the car I wanted, I'll get the tires I want. So I decided on the Michelin Primacy MXV4 after weeks of competitive shopping and review reading. I kept coming back to the MXV4.

My Altima came stock with the Bridgestone Turanza EL400, which are not *bad* tires, but really don't hold a candle to the MXV4.
After switching to the Michelins, the ride was much quieter, much smoother, just as responsive (even going from a V to a Q rated tire), and overall gave the car a much more enjoyable and stable ride.
This was the first time I've been this "excited" about a set of new tires. But they really have exceeded my expectations. All areas of handling have improved: dry traction, steering response, emergency braking, wet traction and road imperfections.
They are quiet, smooth riding and really improved the overall ride of my Altima SE.
