Initial Review, 23,000 Miles on Tires These tires have performed extremely well and are ideally suited for this sort of car and my kind of use. They are quiet, responsive in steering, predictable in grip, excellent in the rain and adequate for brief snowfalls. I use snow and ice tires on steel wheels in the worst part of winter, so these Michelins only see occasional snows early or late in the winter season. The MXM4 has tightened up my car's handling and steering while at the same time showing very refined road manners. They perform very well on unpaved gravel roads, or oil-and-chip macadam as well as concrete or amesite surfaces. Tread life appears to be very good, and I could not be more pleased with these tires.
