Initial Review, 1,200 Miles on Tires I replaced the OEM Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 with new Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires and find them to be an excellent and superior alternative to the OEM. These tires perform better in cornering, straigt line driving with, very low noise level (quieter than the OEM), and high speed performance. Driving at high speeds in heavy rains these tires providing confidence and control for sure-footed handling in wet and dry road conditions. On the interstate, the road seams are absorbed and smooth while the tires still provide ample communication of the road condition to the driver. Michelin has done well with this tire.
