Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires Great tire for mid-west winters. I also run a set of Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3Ds and while they are a good tire, the Michelin is superior. Noise is better than Dunlop- same low whooshing but lower in intensity. Dry performance is better, likely due to stiffer sidewall. Winter performance (snow and ice) is great- really takes the stress out of foul weather commutes with added bonus of driving circles around all weather equipped adversaries.
