Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
July 08, 2014

I purchased a staggered set for my RWD Lexus GS F Sport to replace the OEM Bridgestone Potenzas. After only 15k miles, the Potenzas still had plenty of tread, but were getting noisy between 35-50mph. In just a couple days of driving on these Super Sports, my initial impressions are very good. Even though they are the same size, the Michelins are meatier and ride smoother with better bump absorption. Fills in some wheel gap, as well. I wouldn't say these are quiet but they are definitely quieter than the Bridgestones. Off ramps can be taken at a nice clip with less melodrama. The Potenzas aren't superior in any way, IMO, which makes me wonder why they cost the same or more than the Michelins. So far, I am happy with these and will update my review after I add some more miles.
