Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Follow-Up Review: 5,000 miles on tires
My original review I said this tire is not quite the perfect Autocross tire and my feelings on this remain. I am faster with my RS3 than these Super Sports.

But as a everyday tire I do not think you can purchase a better tire. On my yearly pilgrimage to The Tail of the Dragon and the other great driving roads in the area. Me and my friend drove well beyond the posted speeds on the twisty roads and the tires barely complained. He has a 3 series BMW and a 911 and drives track events. He was amazed at how well the tires kept my car planted in an extended run on the blue ridge parkway. He decided to sell a new set of RE11's that he had in the garage waiting to swap on his 911. I am quite sure I could have push harder and drove faster with a set of RS3 but I would be needing a new set of those sooner than a set of Super Sports.
Initial Review: 700 miles on tires
Very Good Street tire that can be driven at an autocross when air up. Does not have quite the stick of a true street class tire like an RS3. But should last longer. Can be alittle twitchy in a sweeper if you have to make a line correction.
