Initial Review: 28,000 miles on tires
February 11, 2014

After burning thru the Pirellis PZeros that originally came with the care in 10k miles and checking out the price and availability of those same tires I decided to try an alternate brand and ran with BFG G Force TA's which I was able to get 15K out of. I was afraid that I was going to be stuck with budgeting $2000 a year for tires, until a friend recommend I try the Michelin Pilots. Yes they too were expensive but I have been able to put over 28K miles on these tires and I am very pleased with the performance. Are they Racing Tires? No, but they do perform very well for everyday driving and cruising. I believe that we could have gotten another 8k miles out of the tires except that we took a long road trip thru AZ and NV and the continuous hot pavement driving really ate up the tread. The Michelin Pilot SuperSports were by far a better value than my other options to date.
