Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Initial Review: 8,000 miles on tires
November 26, 2013

My previous set of tires were Toyo Proxes. I burned thru them in about 7,000 miles. I do 6 to 8 track events each year plus drive the car whenever the weather is good. These are simply the best gripping tires I have ever owned. The ride of the car has improved and the traction of the tires have made up for some over-driving errors at the track (Miller Motorsports). If there is a better tire out there for track and road driving, I would like to know. We have taken the Porsche on road trips of over 1,000 miles and my wife says she enjoys the ride. The Porsche has been lowered, new shocks to match suspension, plenum, complete exhaust and intake. 299 rear wheel horsepower. 235 at the front and 305 at the rear. I bought two sets of rear tires because the fronts last twice as long as the rears.
