Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Initial Review: 5,000 miles on tires
November 02, 2012

I had these put on my car at the start of the summer, I've done 2 track days on them in addition to the 5,000 street miles. They have held up extremely well showing at least half of their treadwear remaining. On the street they are the quietest high-performance tire I've ever had on my cars, and they are very comfortable given the small sidewalls. They are extremely resistant to Hydroplaning and have excellent dry and wet handling. On the track they show extremely high levels of grip, the break away progressively and give audible warning before they let go, though not as much as some other tires. I expect I should be able to get at least 2 more track days and another 5,000 street miles out of them. If I wasn't tracking the car I would expect to get between 15,000 and 20,000 miles.
