Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires The OE tire, Michelin Pilot HX MXM4, has the same UTQG (300) but has far less traction than this tire. I was able to get 44k miles from the OE tire. If this tire yields the same wear I will be extremely satisfied with it. I did go up in size from a 215 to a 225 which fits the rim/wheel well fine. I do not autocross or otherwise race so a quantitative comparision is not possible but overall my seat of the pants test says it is much better than the OE tire in every respect.
