Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
Initial Review: 25,000 miles on tires
January 02, 2014

This was a great tire - for the 10K+ miles they lasted before the chunking started to occur (http://bit.ly/1asieNs) on the front two. Aside from that minor flaw, these tires worked great on a 3,800lb, '04 Volvo V70R 300HP AWD wagon. Now I realize the weight and handling of the car beats up front tires pretty good, but for spending almost a G on a set, I'd really want them to last more than 10K. Regardless, Michelin recognizes the issue and is somewhat receptive to their customer needs. So rather than replace them at no cost, they pro-rate how much you've driven on the them and discount a replacement set of the Sport 3's. Pretty good deal. So now I have the non-chunking Sport 3's on the wagon and we'll see how they last and perform.
