Follow-Up Review: 1,500 miles on tires
I don't understand where all the complaints with this tire and snow come from. After driving in North West PA during the holidays, I got a good feel for what this tire will do. First.....IT'S AN ALL SEASON TIRE!!!! I believe this tire is geared more for wet and dry performance than capability in the snow. I consider this tire fully capable of handling moderate amounts of snow, when driven properly. That being said, NO all season tire will match the grip of full snow tires, and driving style plays as much a part in the traction equation as the tires do. For me where I live....I don't see that much snow, but this year we have had our share of snow and ice. Ice is always sketchy, but not problem one with snow. Bottom line is if you want outstanding 3 season performance, and acceptable winter performance....this is a good tire to choose.
Initial Review: 1,000 miles on tires
This really is a do it all tire. In the dry, I've not noticed any difference between the summer tires that came on it and these. In the wet....no problem with traction or braking. In the light snow...no problems. I've heard others report issues with snow, but even with the traction control off....they worked great for me. They are a little noisy on some kinds of pavement, but not unacceptable. Very happy with the all around performance.
