I now know how the other half live! What an incredible difference. I bought these to replace the OEM equipped Goodyear Eagles, which were acceptable in most driving conditions, but brutal in winter. I started to wonder if it was the car. Nope, definitely the tires! It is not surprising to roll off the driveway and onto a snow covered road in our development once a week during the winter. Driving in snow my whole life, you learn all the techniques to getting the most out of a vehicle's traction in snow. The original tires were so brutal, I almost bought a dedicated winter tire. Thought I'd try a set of Michelin's, since I have had great experiences with them in the past. Forget the dedicated winter tire, I don't need it now. These Pilots are incredible! For a Z-rate tire, I am shocked by their winter performance. Can't wait to try these out on a nice sunny day zooming around the mountain roads.
