Follow-Up Review: 7,000 miles on tires

By tire gauge, these tires have worn their first 1/32 in approximately 7000 miles of driving (my first review incorrectly states 15000 miles driven and Tire Rack won't let me correct this). This is the first Subaru Forester, probably the first car, I've had where all 4 tires have worn equally. I did have a 4-wheel alignment before these tires were installed.
Initial Review: 1,500 miles on tires

Used on a 2010 Subaru Forester. I'm very pleased with the overall performance of these tires. I cannot recall a quieter tire. Haven't used in the winter (have Micheline X-Ice2's for that), so I can't comment on that. Cornering on 55mph on and off-ramps is excellent. I can't comment on why my ratings are higher than the composite scores here, other than that the Subaru Forester handles really well for an SUV, but is a rather noisy vehicle inside, so I was willing to trade a bit of handling (potentially) for the sake of a quieter interior, nevertheless I've not seen any drop in handling or traction in dry and wet conditions. It will be worth reading what others have to say about winter conditions, if you plan on using these year-round and have snowy winters.
