Initial Review, 2,500 Miles on Tires

Some feedback I had heard suggesting that these tires were not the best "true" snow tires gave me pause but I am so happy I chose these. Where I live in PA, winter is typically a few moderate snow storms but most of the time, the roads are clear, often clean, but cold. These tires are actually very performance oriented and give me great confidence on clean but cold roads. Certainly not the same experience as pushing high performance summers on a warm roads from a grip or cornering stability perspective but I was very surprised at what I can do in the winter on these. That said, these are not amazing in deep snow or ice. In summary - great tire to allow you to enjoy very "spirited" driving in the winter when the roads have cleared and if you need to get around without a problem during those times when you do get a few inches of snow. If you live at the top of a mountain and get 100 inches of snow through the winter look elsewhere. For me, these are perfect.
