Initial Review, 7,000 Miles on Tires This is my second set of these tires. The original set (LTX M/S) was on a 4WD Suburban and they delivered 110,000 smooth, quiet miles. They were great in snow. This new set (LTX M/S2 on a 2005 AWD Escalade ESV Platinum) seems to be more of the same...great in snow, quiet and smooth on dry pavement. While they're not the cheapest tires available, the cost per mile is actually pretty low, considering that these should last at least 120,000 miles, and ofcourse being Michelins, stay perfectly round and smooth throughout the life of the tire.
