Michelin Latitude Tour
Initial Review: 30,000 miles on tires
January 21, 2013

After 2 years and approximately 30,000 miles of mostly highway driving tread depth is less than 4/32 in the center, almost down to the wear bars. The outer rib has a bit more depth thus wear does not seem due to a suspension or alignment issue. The tires are on a GMC Acadia with tire pressure sensors and these tires have never been driven significantly overinflated or underinflated. One tire just suffered a puncture and I will replace rather than repair given the limited remaining life. I have been told that Michelin will only consider warranty if all 4 tires are at the wear limits and all are being replaced, something to keep in mind if you are buying based on long life rating. I was hoping for better life on a $200 tire. Otherwise the tires have provided good performance. They are quieter and better in snow than the OE tires.
