This replaced the OEM Continentals. The Hydroedge is a superb match to the Rogue. I drive vigorously in Washington, DC area commuter traffic, about 40 miles each day. These tires handle highway ramps with ease; I am often braking deep into the turn to not run over the cars in front of me. Wet road handling instills great confidence and I have avoided several rear-end possibilities due to the fine grip and control. I installed the tires in September 2012 and we had 2 very mild winters. We have recently experienced nasty, mixed conditions with snow, melting, and overnight freezing. The grip on black ice is fantastic (I did back off on the throttle, but felt very safe with these tires). This past Sunday, our church parking lot was a glaze of ice. Many people slipped and fell, but my car was still handling predictably.
A review of my gas consumption shows about 1 MPG less with the Hydroedge compared to the Continentals. (About 24.5 MPG for Michelin and 25.5 for the Continentals). Part of this may be due to more spirited driving on the Hydroedge due to is great grip, quick steering response and overall feel of confidence. I would definitely buy these tires again for a non-sports car application.
