Initial Review, 99,999 Miles on Tires
(These are the old hydroedge, not the new Xgreen) I put these tires on my Civic as a 2nd best choice because they did not carry the brand I wanted in this size, what a wonderful misfortune. These tires are fantastic. They have had great traction in a wide variety of conditions including winter conditions in West Michigan and every day driving. They have handled and stopped well even in more aggressive driving. On ice they left a bit to be desired, but these are all seasons not dedicated snow tires. Even with great grip they last forever, on my other car I put on my first choice tire which is a "similar" tread pattern advertised as equivalent to the hydoredge. The hydroedges have out performed the other tire (Goodyear Assurance Triple treads) in every category but especially wear. They have outlasted two set of triple treads on my other car despite similar wear warranty They have provided seven years faithful service and performance.
