Initial Review, 700 Miles on Tires The Energy is the OEM tire and has good performance on wet and dry pavement. However, it is a terrible tire for light snow and ice. One inch of snow causes wheel slip when starting from a dead stop at a traffic light. I am considering either the XIce or the Conti DWS as a winter tire for Columbus, Ohio.
