Initial Review, 51,000 Miles on Tires These are the OE tires and I'm getting ready to replace them. The OE Michelin on my Mazda 6 were good on dry and wet roads when the car was band new, but the first time I drove the car with the original tires in the snow it was not what I expected from Michelin. I know it isn't that hard to spin the wheel on a manual transmission, but It was like having a set of racing tires that you would find on a Corvette, very poor traction. I'm not saying Michelin puts out bad products, they do make other tires that are much better than the Energy MXV 4. I would consider purchasing a different Michelin tire.
