Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires I had 2 sets of Hydroedge which I really liked, they are no longer made and the Guardian is, so Michelin Guardian says, the Hydroedge's replacement. The Guardian is a great tire but does not have the Hydroedge's ride comfort. It has a harsher ride especially over bumps. At 5000 miles shows no wear. I spend 6 summer months in FL and 6 winter months in MD. Great in the rain, Great in the snow (I have AWD), even better on dry roads. Another great Michelin tire.
